Apple has always been known for its innovation and cutting-edge technology. Now, the company is taking things to the next level with its secret Exploratory Design Group (XDG). This team is working on more than just noninvasive glucose monitoring; they are also developing other projects that could revolutionize the tech industry.
The XDG team was first revealed in February of 2023 when Bloomberg reported that Apple was working on a no-prick glucose tracker. Since then, more details have emerged about what this team is up to. According to NewsBreak Original, Apple is not only seeking noninvasive glucose monitoring for its wearable; a hidden team is also working on other projects.
One such project is an internet communicator, which could be used as an alternative to traditional phone calls and text messages. Additionally, the team is reportedly working on a touch-screen iPod and other products related to artificial intelligence and augmented reality. As Reddit user TheExclusiveReads put it: "It's a glucose monitor, a touch-screen iPod, and an internet communicator. Are you getting it yet?"
