Apple Watch Series 9 and Second-Generation Apple Watch Ultra Coming This Fall

Apple is set to launch the Apple Watch Series 9 and a second-generation Apple Watch Ultra alongside the iPhone 15 lineup this fall. The new watches are expected to feature an S9 chip that's built on the same technology as the A15 chip, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.


The Apple Watch Series 9 will be priced at $399 for the 41mm GPS-only model and $429 for the 45mm GPS-only model, while the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra is expected to come with a higher price tag. Both watches will offer improved performance and battery life compared to their predecessors.


In addition, rumors suggest that both watches will feature a redesigned exterior with new colors and materials, as well as improved health tracking features such as sleep tracking and blood oxygen monitoring. It is also rumored that the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra will come with an always-on display.


Updates To Mac Lineup Not Expected Until Later This Year or Early 2024

Updates to the Mac lineup are not expected until later this year or early 2024. According to reports, Apple is working on a new 24-inch iMac and a new iMac with a screen larger than 30 inches. The company is also said to be developing an ARM processor for its Macs, which could bring significant improvements in performance and battery life.


The iPad Pro and iPad Air are also expected to receive updates in 2024, including faster processors, improved displays, better cameras, and more storage options. Additionally, rumors suggest that Apple is working on third-generation AirPods Pro earbuds as well as a new version of its streaming device called the “Apple TV” which could include support for 5G networks. Finally, other smart home products such as HomeKit accessories are currently in early development stages at Apple.
